I am a 26 year old graduate of the Illinois Institute of Technology. I graduated in 1998 with a Bachelors of Science in Mechanical Engineering. Shortly after graduation, I was commissioned as a 2d Lieutenant in the US Air Force, and went on active duty at Barksdale Air Force Base in Louisiana. During my time in the Air Force, I have learned quite a bit about computer networking and communications. I am currently working as a Computer Network Defense Engineer for the Defensive Counterinformation Division of the Air Force Information Warfare Center. In my position, I have the opportunity to see products similar to what I have written for the IDEA project. None, however, combine the features and functionality that I have tried to include in my initial release of IDEA.

I recently separated from the Air Force (this July) after an amazing 5 years. I was incredibly fortunate to work with the people that I met and will be eternally grateful for their friendship. After separation, I took a job with a company that I will not name for many reasons. It is sufficient to say that I am in the DC area and I love my job. Development on IDEA continues, albeit at a slower pace than before due to my move (I still have a lot of junk in boxes, including some of the reference material that has aided IDEA development). Please bear with me. I would still greatly appreciate a java developer's assistance on the project, if anyone out there is interested...please reference the javadoc and then drop me an email if you are interested in assisting on the project.
